Focused on the fish, the experience, and the people who make it unforgettable.
Meet Captain Stephen
Captain Stephen brings a lifelong passion for fishing, the outdoors, and the ocean to every trip with Elite Offshore Alaska Charters. Drawn north by Alaska’s wild waters and world-class fisheries, he built his experience through hands-on work, long days on the water, and a deep respect for the challenges and rewards of offshore fishing in Sitka.
As a captain, Stephen is known for his calm leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to safety. He takes pride in running clean, well-prepared trips while putting guests in the best position to succeed—whether that means chasing hard-fighting salmon, dropping deep for halibut, or working the rocky structure for lingcod and rockfish.
Above all, Captain Stephen believes a great charter is about more than just fish. It’s about strong relationships, trust on the water, and creating memorable days in one of the most remarkable marine environments in the world. His goal is simple: deliver an honest, high-quality offshore experience that guests talk about long after the trip ends.
Co-Captain Khali
Khali is the official first mate and morale officer aboard Elite Offshore Alaska Charters. A seasoned boat dog with countless days on the water, she takes her role seriously—keeping watch for whales, supervising snack breaks, and ensuring the crew stays in good spirits.
When she’s not posted on the bow enjoying the sea breeze, Khali can usually be found greeting guests, soaking up the scenery, or napping between fishing stops. Her calm presence and friendly personality make her a favorite among guests of all ages.
While Captain Stephen handles the navigation, Khali handles the vibes. Every great boat needs a first mate—and no offshore adventure is complete without her on board.
